Master Sgt. Ted Davis, fulfilling a time honored tradition at the 132nd Fighter Wing, Des Moines, Iowa by carrying the American flag as he is the first to exit the aircraft of returning deplorers. Master Sgt Davis along with 270 members of the 132nd Fighter Wing returned December 24 to the Iowa Air National Guard Base located at the Des Moines International Airport, from Joint Base Balad, Iraq after filling an aviation package Aerospace Expeditionary Force rotation.
