Staff Sgt. Beth Rodas, 132 Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Group Outreach Team, attended the Northeast Iowa Family Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Festival in Oelwein, Iowa on October 12, 2017 where she represented 132d ISRG.

At the event, Rodas interacted with approximately 200 fifth to eighth grade students and their parents.  Rodas provided an aircraft imagery order of battle identification activity, where students had to analyze imagery paired with detailed aircraft specifications to correctly identify what type of aircraft they were viewing.

Rodas continually works closely with the six STEM regions of Iowa as she seeks out opportunities to educate Iowa communities about the missions at the 132d Wing, ANG opportunities and specifics about the Geospatial Intelligence mission. The 132d Outreach Team has plans to attend 3 more Iowa regional STEM festival events over the seven months to further impact STEM students and professionals. The Northeast Iowa Family STEM Festival had an attendance of approximately 700 attendees.
