132nd Wing welcomes Gov. Branstad and Lt. Gov. Reynolds for tour of Wing's capabilities.
The 132nd Wing, Iowa Air National Guard based in Des Moines, Iowa hosted Iowa Governor Terry Branstad and Lieutenant Governor Kim Reynolds during a tour of the Wing’s capabilities on June 9. Maj. Gen. Timothy Orr, The Adjutant General of Iowa (far right), also attended, as Iowa officials were briefed on the unit’s three new missions – Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance, Defensive Cyber Operations, and MQ-9 Remotely Piloted Aircraft flying operations.
